Our gov't does not take care of it's own, so it's just wrong that you have not had the surgery that you need. I have not been homeless or a vet but resonate with isolation that happens when church people don't know what to do with trauma. It leave me more discouraged and isolated than before trying to connect with them. <br /><br />Are you looking for suggestions? Or just someone to listen? None of your story is surprising! You're not alone at all. Personally, I like groups that serve homeless and mentally ill people: they're the most relatable. The expectations are so different. The culture is different.
